Could you conduct photography tours for Travelshooters?
We're always on the lookout for brilliant photographers who can lead tours in fabulous destinations.
The best match for a Travelshooters Shoot Director would be someone who:
- Shoots at a pro level
- Has a deep knowledge of how photograpy works and is able to transmit that knowledge to others in a simple, non-techie way
- Is born and bred in, or a long-term resident of, the destination country and therefore
- Can provide special, privileged access to people, places and cultural events
- Knows the stories, issues and insights behind the local culture
- Speaks the local languages
- Is known to and trusted by local photographic venues and subjects
- Speaks fluent English
- Has conducted groups of amateur photographers and enjoys helping people to improve their photography
- Has a friendly, likeable personality (we're not too big on prima donnas! Our heroes are the amateur shooters who travel with us :-)
The key thing with Travelshooters is we don't always want to be 'on the outside looking in': we want to be on the stage, or behind it, not always watching from the audience. If you can work with us to give our clients unique itineraries and shoot opportunities, we should definitely talk!
